While our programs are staffed by full-time professionals, we do have many opportunities for individuals and corporate groups to donate their time and talent to further the organization’s mission.
Internship Program is designed to equip future health professionals with the tools they need to serve marginalized populations and promote access to the resources and support services they need to attain improved quality healthcare and outcomes. Interns are assigned to specific departments and/or programs based on their practicum or specific area of interests. In addition to their specific assignments, interns have an opportunity to engage with program staff in other areas to learn more fully about the organization; as well as, with management to gain broader based exposure to the field of work. Furthermore, this experience provides interns the opportunity to develop and submit their graduate research papers/thesis.
Upon graduation, interns have secured employment nationally at Departments of Health, community-based organizations and enrolled in medical school.
If you are passionate about public health, eager to learn and self motivated for personal growth and development, this may be your opportunity. E-mail resume and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org
